In November 2003 NAPSer organized the course of lectures about the AIDS therapy. Professor, who helped NAPSer with indroducing this theme to students, were from the Institute of Microbiology and Pharmacology from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Belgrade and one professor from the Faculty of Medicine, Belgrade.
The first lecture was about the HIv virus. Prof Nada Kuljic-Kapulica gave to students virusology picture of HIV, characteristics of the virus, his genom, replication, sensitivity, diagnostics and serologic diagnostics.
After this story, students heard about the thearpy and medicines that we use to treat this kind of serious illness. |

Prof. Radica Stepanovic -Petrovic from the Institute of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, told students about differences between reverse transcriptase inhibitors and protease inhibitors, about new ways and approachs in treatments.
Prof Jovan Ranin presented to students advance of AIDS, all symptoms that follows AIDS and hard life and treatments that becomds the way of life for these people.
All aspects of virus, treatment and clinical picture are presented on this lecture. |
